Fruzsina Sebestyen

Ballet

Fruzsina started her classical ballet training at the age of 9 at the Magda Aunon School of Classical Ballet. With Magda’s training she performed in various ballets, including Paquita, Mary Poppins, and of course, the Nutcracker. Over summers, she would travel to Hungary to visit family, where she continued her ballet training at the Royal Ballet of Hungary. Upon Magda’s retirement in 2018, she briefly joined Ballet Elite before graduating. After a short break from dance to receive her Bachelor’s degree in health sciences, she returned to Ballet Elite to get her teacher training, and has been teaching classical ballet to a wide age-range of students ever since. In recent years, she also discovered a passion for pilates and became a certified instructor in 2026.

Kristen Pinard "KP"

Jazz and Acro

Kristen “KP” Pinard is a Florida-based choreographer, educator, and performer with more than 26 years of dance experience. A graduate of Douglas Anderson School of the Arts and former Tremaine Performance Company Assistant, KP gained early industry experience touring nationally alongside leading choreographers and respected educators.

She continued her dance career at Florida State University as a three-year member of the nationally ranked FSU Golden Girls Dance Team, where the team earned a Top 3 Division IA Jazz finish at UDA Nationals. Following college, KP spent four seasons as a Miami Dolphins Cheerleader, serving two years as captain. Her professional credits include international performances with Armed Forces Entertainment and ProTour Productions in Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi, and Hawaii, as well as appearances in the Super Bowl LIV Halftime Show featuring Jennifer Lopez and Shakira and the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix alongside artists such as Bella Dose, will.i.am, and LL Cool J.

Most recently, KP has earned recognition as an award-winning choreographer, receiving 14+ choreography awards while continuing to teach, mentor, and create throughout South Florida. With an energetic teaching style, strong technical foundation, and passion for performance, she is committed to helping young dancers build confidence and artistry both on and off the stage.

Christie Sciturro

Christie Sciturro was born in Sterling Heights, Michigan. She received her dance training at Juliana’s Academy of Dance, The Rock School and Miami City Ballet School. She attended summer intensives at Pacific Northwest Ballet,American Ballet Theatre(New York), and The Rock School of the Pennsylvania Ballet. She was awarded the Youth American Grand Prix in 2004/05 in the Chicago, Illinois competition.
Christie joined Miami City Ballet School in 2005, became a student apprentice in 2006, company apprentice in 2007 and was promoted to member of the corps de ballet in 2008.

Dana Williams

Ballet

Dana Williams was formerly the Co – Director of the Ft. Lauderdale Ballet Classique for eight years alongside Magda Aunon, as well as Founder and previous Owner of Ballet Elite Dance Studio for eighteen years. Her earliest training in Classical Ballet was at the Irene Folkine School of Ballet in Ridgewood, NJ and the Magda Auñon School of Ballet in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She also trained at the Houston and Washington Ballet Schools. Her teaching career includes such prestigious schools as The University School of Nova University, The Magda Aunon School of Classical Ballet, North Broward Preparatory School, and The Ft. Lauderdale Youth Ballet. She has been teaching here at Ballet Elite Dance Studio since its beginning in 2001. She was Artistic Director of “The Nutcracker” for the past 25 years. Dana presently teaches Ballet and Pointe to our Junior Elite, Teen Elite, and Senior Elite students.

Jen Enser

Pre-Ballet

Born and raised in Lima, Peru; Jen Enser fostered a love for the arts from an early age. In preparatory school, she was involved in fine arts clubs, from Method Acting, Dance and Staging, to Musical Theatre. Moving to South Florida to pursue a degree in Marketing from University of Miami, Jen settled down and started a family. As of 2016, her involvement in the ministry outreach Parkridge Dance has given her experience in teaching ballet to children from preschool age to fifth grade. At Ballet Elite, her two daughters found a dance home; and in 2021 Jen joined the faculty as a Pre-Ballet instructor. Firmly believing every child should experience dance at some point in their formative years; Miss Jen’s classes focus on creative movement, familiarity with ballet glossary and a love for dancing.

Kim Braganza

Ballet

Kimberly began dancing at the age of four, starting with ballet classes at Abundant Life Christian Academy before continuing her training at Ballet Elite Dance Studio. Under the guidance of Dana Williams, she studied Classical Ballet and later expanded her repertoire to include Contemporary and Hip-Hop with Natalie Brum-Frazier.

 At just eleven years old, Kimberly earned second place in the contemporary division of the 2004 American Dance Competition and went on to compete in events such as Intrigue and the American Dance Awards throughout her dance career. In 2012, Kimberly began teaching, sharing her diverse training and love for dance with the next generation. While earning her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences at Florida Atlantic University, she also trained with the FAU Department of Theatre & Dance, performing in Dance We Dance and becoming a member of the Repertory Dance Theatre Ensemble.

Today, Kimberly continues to teach and perform while working full-time as a Microbiologist in the pharmaceutical industry. Despite her scientific career, she remains deeply connected to the dance community, dedicating her time to inspiring and mentoring young dancers. Dance has always been her first love, and she is committed to sharing that passion both in the studio and on stage.

Linda Kasak

Acro Instructor

Linda earned a bachelor’s degree in Dance Education from Dance Educators of America in New York City, NY. She then went on to co-own and operate Kasak’s School of Dance in Massachusetts for more than 30 years. Linda taught both children and adult classes there, as well as choreographed and co-directed the end of the year performances.
Ms. Kasak worked as a character performer for Walt Disney World for 7 years and also traveled with the 20th Anniversary Travel Trade Tour “Disney’s Surprise Party”. The characters Linda played during this time include Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Winnie the Pooh, and Roger Rabbit.

Locally, Linda taught Tap, Jazz, and Acro to children and adults for 14 years. In addition, she choreographed competition routines and annual recital dances. Ballet Elite is excited to have Linda Kasak join our staff. Her vast knowledge and experience, as well as her passion for dance and love for her students are evident in all of her classes.

Lisa List

Ballet

Lisa was formally trained in Classical Ballet at Magda Aunon’s School of Ballet for 13 years along with Dana Williams. She’s performed the Nutcracker 15 times in parts ranging from “Fritz” to “Dew Drop” to “Mother Goose”. She also has performed variations of Coppelia, Paquita, Giselle and Swan Lake with Magda at S.E.R.B.A. ,achieving Gala performance status through Fort Lauderdale Ballet Classique. She received multiple scholarships from Pennsylvania Ballet and attended summer intensives at the University of South Florida and Alabama Ballet in Montgomery. At the age of 14 she began her desired career of teaching ballet and continued for 8 years with Magda. She continued her ventures at Kelly’s School of Dance and DancingPlus for another 4 years. Lisa has also taught Swing, Zumba, Latin and Ballroom dancing. After a short hiatus to start her family, she has returned to her true passion for teaching ballet and is looking forward to growing with the Ballet Elite Family.

Maria (Malu) Quintal

Hip-Hop

Malu moved to the United States when she was 9 years old. In an attempt to make new friends in what seemed like a new world, her teachers insisted she audition for the school play. Because she was so shy for any speaking role, she was casted as a background dancer. Malu unexpectedly grew to love this craft and has been dancing ever since. After graduating high school she threw herself into any dance audition she could go to. At 18, she was on So You Think You Can Dance in the Vegas rounds and at 19 she became a dancer for the NBA’s Miami HEAT. At 20, she was performing on live television for the Latin Awards. Since then she has professionally danced alongside artists including Pitbull, Sean Paul, Katy Perry, Daddy Yankee, Karol G, Anuel, Robin Thicke, J Balvin, Maluma, Luis Fonsi, Ozuna, and more. Throughout her career Malu has worked in several areas of the dance commercial industry. She has been featured as a dancer in the movie Step Up 4, appeared in numerous music videos, and has performed live concert shows on world tours. Lately, she enjoys expanding her abilities as a choreographer and has been grateful to have choreographed for large organizations such as the NBA’s Miami Heat and MLB’s Miami Marlins to name a few. Her latest projects involve choreographing music videos for several Latin artists and leading a team of professional dancers on her latest world tour. In addition to this Malu enjoys training young promising dancers and has been teaching classes, school teams, competition teams, and low income programs for 11 years. Not only does she love performing on stage or dancing on camera but Malu also thrives on working behind the scenes: creating, growing, and sharing her knowledge in the dance industry with hungry talent. Her favorite style to teach is commercial/stage dance and Malu’s teaching method highlights on clean visuals, musical dynamics and textured movement.

Melanie Martel

Modern & Contemporary Ballet

Mélanie is originally from France. She trained in France at the Conservatory of Valence and at the Ecole de danse Olivier Coste in Ballet, Modern Jazz and Contemporary. She came to Miami and attended New World School of the Arts, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2014. While at New World, she performed works from Peter London, Gerard Ebitz, Ana Sokolow, José Limon, Martha Graham, Merce Cunningham and Darshan Singh Buller. Some of the works were performed at the Joyce Theatre (NYC), the Alvin Ailey Theatre and in Puerto Rico for the Festival Internacional de Baile (2013).

She participated (among others) in The Henny Jurriëns Foundation summer intensive in Amsterdam where she had the opportunity to learn and perform Jiří Kylián’s repertory and explore movement in a William Forsythe’s Improvisational Technologies workshop. This workshop offered her a whole new perspective on dance and improvisation and she continued studying more of that technique, such as Gaga in Europe, New York and Miami. Mélanie has worked with The Tattooed Ballerina, Godoy/Pradera Projects, National Water Dance Projects, CoreDance Atlanta, Miami Contemporary Dance company, and The Dancers’ Space. Currently, she is a dance artist with national and international touring company iMEE (Infinite Movement Ever Evolving).

Mélanie was invited to teach for the Dancer’s Space in West Palm Beach and as part of the Contemporary Sunday at Thomas Armour Conservatory in Miami and is teaching in Broward and Miami-Dade County.

Melissa McFarland

Ballet Instructor

Melissa began her dance training at Fort Lauderdale Ballet Classique under the direction of Magda Anuon and Dana Williams. Melissa then joined the academy of Ballet Florida at the age of ten and became a member of their pre professional division. While there she studied ballet under the direction of Francia Kulchar, Ruth Petronovic and Claudia Cravey. During her time with Ballet Florida Melissa had the privilege of performing with the company in such ballets as The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Lady of the Camellias and Romeo and Juliet. Melissa has also attended summer intensives at the Rock School, Ballet Florida, Boston Ballet and Houston Ballet. After leaving Ballet Florida in 1998 at the age of 17, Melissa returned to dance with Dana Williams and has been performing, teaching and Choreographing with Ballet Elite since the doors opened.

Chrissi Ardito

Born in Brooklyn, Chrissi started dancing at the age of four, and performing at the age of ten.  Through the years, she studied extensively under many well-known teachers and choreographers.  At the age of eighteen, she became a certified dance instructor with Dance Educators of America.  Before she was teaching full-time, her many years of training led her to performance in dance companies, theme parks, around the world on cruise ships, nightclubs, and finally professional theatre, where she joined the Actors’ Equity Association.  As a union member, in a span of 30 years, Chrissi performed in and/or choreographed over 80 musicals.  A few of her favorite roles include Anita in “West Side Story”, Morales in “A Chorus Line”, Peggy Sawyer in “42nd Street”.  Chrissi has received multiple nominations and awards for her work.  To date, Chrissi has been with Ballet Elite for 11 years!  The Place To BE! 

Mika Santo

Contemporary, Jazz & Leaps and Turns

Mika Santo is a 23 year old Florida native who has always had huge aspirations to become a successful choreographer. By choreographing an opening number for Pulse: On Tour for their Vegas nationals at age 19 and co-choreographing a music video alongside Robert Davis for KEVVO & Becky G at age 22, she is well on her path to following her dreams. In addition to creating a name for herself in the South Florida scene, Mika also obtained her BFA in dance at New World School of the Arts in 2021. In her time at New World, she has performed works by Ohad Naharin, Jennifer Archibald, and Jeffery Smith. She has also trained under Peter London, Lara Murphy, Adele Meyers, Jeffery Smith and Rebecca Cannan.

Mika has 18 years of dance experience, including her eclectic competitive/concert/commercial dance background. Growing up, she has had the privilege to receive many titles, scholarships, and awards in her competition dance career. In 2016, she was awarded a 20,000 dollar scholarship to attend AMDA college. Mika has also dabbled in commercial work. She was chosen by Matt Steffanina, who is a well-known LA choreographer, to be apart of his concept video. She has also appeared in a video choreographed by Jake Kodish in 2017.

Her passion for dance and teaching reflects in her choreographic works. She has won numerous choreography awards in her 5 years of choreographing and teaching. Her quest to bridge the gaps between all three of her worlds has made her become a competition stand-out and well sought-after. She has been teaching for Ballet Elite’s contemporary company for the past two years, and the Junior/Intermediate company starting this season. She has an incredible amount of love and care for her students, and is excited to continue her journey in mentoring them to become their best selves.

Natalie Brum-Frazier

Owner/Artistic Director; Contemporary

Natalie has been an instructor and choreographer for the past 15 years in South Florida. She trained and performed as a Ballet dancer under the instruction of Dana Williams at Ballet Elite Dance Studio in Margate, FL from 1998-2006. During that time she also studied Lyrical, Contemporary, and Modern. She later began her Hip-Hop training in Miami in 2007 and performed with the crew “Epidemik.” Natalie joined the “World Models” agency where she auditioned as a commercial dancer from 2010-2012, while also attending Florida Atlantic University. Her passion for teaching soon exceeded her desire to become a professional working dancer. Over the last 15 years, Natalie’s focus has been growing Ballet Elite Dance Studio to be a diverse and well rounded training facility for dancers novice to pre-professional. Natalie became owner of Ballet Elite Dance Studio in 2019 and has shifted her role but remains a contemporary instructor at the studio as well as a competition coach and Artistic Director. She pushes her dancers to think differently, dance differently, and form their own personal stories throughout her classes. Natalie’s classes incorporate self-exploration and artistry through improv at a young age. Her students develop the tools to communicate freely through dance and, in turn, build their own unique language. Her dancers have entered many improv competitions where they have received first place and several scholarships to further their training and education. Natalie is also a contemporary coach to some of the Elite soloists at the studio. Her choreography has won top placements at several highly competitive venues such Youth America Grand Prix and Universal Ballet Competition where her dancers have received first place as well as the Miami International Ballet Competition where her choreography was chosen to perform at the closing gala of Canaan Dance International in Hong Kong. Natalie owes her tremendous love of teaching to her students, who inspire her, drive her, and define her as an instructor and a director.

Natalie Gonzalez

Lyrical, Contemporary & Leaps and Turns

Natalie began dancing at Ballet Elite Dance Studio, where she trained in all styles of dance with a focus on Lyrical, Contemporary, and Leaps and Turns. At age 15, she began assisting Ms. Natalie Brum-Frazier and started her teacher training, eventually teaching weekly classes, leading her own competitive teams, and becoming Assistant to the Director.

Natalie’s choreography has received top placements and awards at prestigious competitions, including The American Dance Competition, Universal Ballet Competition, and Youth America Grand Prix. One of her pieces received first place and was invited to the YAGP Finals.

As an educator and coach, Natalie is passionate about helping dancers develop both their technical abilities and confidence. She now serves as the Director of Ballet Elite’s Competition Program and coaches dancers across multiple competitive levels. Natalie loves mentoring her students and helping them grow in confidence, discipline, and determination. She believes that with hard work and dedication, anything is possible and is passionate about continuing to inspire the next generation of dancers.

In 2015, Natalie became an assistant to Mrs. Natalie Brum-Frazier where she began her teacher training. She was promoted to “Assistant to the Director” in 2017 and worked as the rehearsal assistant to the Elite competitive teams at the studio. Her choreography has won top placement and awards at prestigious competitions such as The American Dance Competition, Universal Ballet Competition, and Youth American Grand Prix, where her piece received first place and was invited to the YAGP finals in 2018. In 2019 she started her own competitive team and now coach’s our Mini Elite and Junior-intermediate teams.

Natalie loves what she does and is happy to share her love for dance. She wants to show her students that with enough determination, anything is possible. She is so excited to be teaching Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop, and Leaps and Turns this season!

Sarah Hill

Hip-Hop

Sarah Hill is a Florida-based choreographer, educator, and performer with more than 19 years of dance experience. She began her training at Ballet Elite Dance Studio at age eight, where she trained for more than a decade under director Natalie Brum Frazier. During her time at Ballet Elite, Sarah progressed from assisting classes to teaching weekly classes and leading competitive teams. Her diverse training includes ballet, Hip-Hop, contemporary/lyrical, tap, and jazz. As a young dancer, she was accepted into the Boston Ballet Summer Program, furthered her classical ballet training under Magda Aunon at the Magda Aunon School of Ballet, and performed in Fort Lauderdale Ballet Classique’s annual Nutcracker productions.

With eight years of experience working with competitive teams, Sarah has developed a strong background in choreography, coaching, and dance education. She currently teaches dancers of all levels and coaches competitive Hip-Hop teams at Ballet Elite, while also teaching and choreographing for studios throughout South Florida. Her choreography has earned strong scores, awards, and placements at competitions including Hype Dance Competition, In10sity Dance, and Shake the Ground Competition. She has also prepared the North Broward Preparatory School dance team for competitive performances. As a performer, Sarah has worked in commercials, music videos, and live performances, including the opportunity to dance alongside Coldplay at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium.

Sarah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Florida Atlantic University, allowing her to combine her professional dance experience with a strong foundation in teaching. She is passionate about creating structured, engaging, and supportive environments where dancers can build technique, musicality, confidence, and artistry. Committed to continued growth as an artist and educator, she has trained with industry professionals including Chris Grant, choreographer for Beyoncé, Marlee Hightower of Motiv Crew, Dexter Carr, and Felix “FeFe” Burgos. Today, Sarah continues to pursue opportunities as a choreographer, performer, coach, and educator throughout South Florida, with the goal of inspiring dancers to perform authentically and develop a genuine love for dance. 

Kailena Van de Nes

Acro

Kailena Van De Nes is an award-winning choreographer, internationally trained dance educator, and acrobatics specialist with nearly 20 years of teaching experience. She is the founder of Acro Training Center in Boca Raton, Florida, where she provides specialized training in acrobatics, flexibility, contortion, hand balancing, tumbling, and strength and conditioning for dancers.

Born in Toronto and raised in Brazil and Nova Scotia, Kailena began dancing at the age of two and has trained throughout Canada, the United States, and Brazil. She holds a degree in Recreation Management from Acadia University and spent 10 years owning and operating KV Dance Studio in Ottawa, Ontario.

Her extensive dance and movement background includes Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Ballroom, Acrobatic Arts, Alixa Flexibility, Relative Motion, and more. Kailena has continued to pursue specialized education in acrobatics, flexibility, contortion, hand balancing, strength, mobility, and injury prevention and is also a certified personal trainer and strength coach.

In addition to teaching at Ballet Elite and working with dancers throughout South Florida, Kailena travels across the United States as a dance competition adjudicator and works with dancers and studios throughout North America.

Kailena is passionate about helping dancers become strong, confident, and technically sound athletes. Her teaching emphasizes proper progressions, strength, technique, injury prevention, and long-term dancer development, giving students the tools they need to safely and successfully advance their acrobatic training.

Miss Marie is an artistic soul with a heart for teaching, encouraging, and helping others shine. She especially loves working with beginner classes and has a special way with the minis and all of our beloved studio babies!

You’ll often find her jumping into classes to lend a helping hand, encouraging dancers, assisting teachers, or keeping the little ones entertained in the lobby. Miss Marie has been part of Ballet Elite since 2006, and throughout the years she has thrived in Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, and Lyrical. Her love for creativity, performance, and teaching shines through in everything she does.

Whether she’s helping a first-time dancer learn their very first steps or cheering on a seasoned performer, Miss Marie brings joy, energy, and a whole lot of love to the studio!

Sora Teramoto

Contemporary & Hip-Hop

Sora Teramoto is a young dancer, choreographer, and dance educator with more than 17 years of experience. She danced with Ballet Elite from when she was 4 years old until her high school graduation, upon which she used the knowledge and experience she gained to begin dancing and teaching professionally. Sora is based in South Florida but has trained, performed, taught, choreographed, and been distinguished worldwide in countries such as Japan, Hong Kong, and Korea. Throughout her student life, she was repeatedly recognized in competitions including but not limited to Universal Ballet Competition, Youth America Grand Prix, The American Dance Competition/International Ballet Competition, Miami International Ballet Competition, Korea International Contemporary Dance Competition, and Star of Canaan Dance International Ballet Competition. In 2018, she performed in the Star of Canaan Dance International Ballet Competition in Hong Kong, earning Top 10 in its ballet category and guesting as a contemporary artist for its gala. In 2019, she was awarded the Silver Medal at the Miami International Ballet Competition. In September of 2020, she participated in the Korea International Contemporary Dance Competition and was recognized with a Jury Leader Award. In 2021, she won the Silver Medal at the Miami International Ballet Competition and later placed 3rd in the contemporary division of Youth America Grand Prix.

Outside of ballet, she became gradually more familiar with dance conventions, assisting Intrigue Dance Intensive and Heat Convention & Competition. She further left with recognition and multiple awards from Hype Dance Competition, Neovate Dance Experience, Radix Dance Convention, Jump Dance Convention, Nuvo Dance Convention, Shake the Ground Competition, In10sity Dance, Transcend Tour, Streetz Dance Convention, Embody Dance Convention, Artists Simply Human Dance Convention, and many more. She has additionally been chosen as the 1st place winner at the Nationals of such competitions, including Intrigue Dance Intensive and Artists Simply Human Dance Convention.

She moved to Japan in September of 2024 where she lived until May 2025, which gave her opportunities to not just train, but also guest at performances and teach contemporary classes overseas.

Several of Sora’s choreographic works have been presented on stage with Intrigue Dance Intensive as she toured with them nationwide in 2022 and 2023. Her versatility can be observed as her work extends through contemporary, ballet, modern, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, and fusion styles of dance. Throughout her dance journey, she has performed works choreographed and staged by Kenichi Kasamatsu, Jordan Johnson of JA Collective, Jessica Starr Gravelle, Seth Robinson, Brodie Rachelle Masse, Darlyn Perez, Ali Pfleger, Jakevis Thomason, Chad McCall, Molly Long, Ken Ossola, Maria “Malu” Lucero, Ben Faustino, and Mika Santo, among many others. Sora’s work ethic, training, and dedication have allowed her to perform in The Choreographer’s Carnival in Los Angeles as well as with Coldplay in Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium. She is currently a Full Company Member of Styx The Company’s 5th Volume, where she is continuing her training as she teaches and choreographs.

Meagan Christiansen

Meagan began her Ballet training at the age of 8 at Expressions Of Joy under the direction of Josie Geyer and transitioned to Astrid Audet Academy Of Ballet at the age of 11 to further her training in all styles of dance. Excelling in all genres led her to want to become a teacher in 2021, teaching many styles to all ages but mostly ballet, tap, and contemporary. She has participated in various performances as a student, such as Coppelia, Mary Poppins, The Sound Of Music, The Wizard Of Oz, and of course the annual Nutcracker Ballet every winter, dancing numerous roles including the Snow Queen pas de deux and the Sugar Plum Fairy. She has also attended many conventions and competitions and received both Platinum and Top Overall awards. Every summer, she would attend her studio’s rigorous summer intensive and train further with Joffrey Ballet in Miami. Meagan graduated from the New World School of the Arts in Miami for high school in 2023 and continues teaching to this day. She is also currently dancing professionally with STYX The Company in Miami as a company member.
